Course Description:
This seminar is a basic introductory overview of the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) Part 3, Repairs and Alterations (2025 Edition). It focuses on the National Board “R” Certificate Holders engaged in the repair and alteration of boilers and pressure vessels.
The course describes the formatting and structure of NBIC Part 3 and its scope and its implementation in repair and alteration programs. Revisions and changes introduced in the 2025 edition will be addressed.
