ASME Section IX, Welding Requirements (E25)

This seminar is a basic introductory overview of the Section IX Welding Qualifications Code (2025 Edition). It focuses on the ASME Certificate Holders engaged in welded construction in accordance with ASME Codes of Construction (Section I, Section VIII, etc.) and Repair Organizations working under the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) Part 3, Repairs and Alterations.
The course describes the formatting and structure of Section IX and its scope and implementation in a Code fabrication program.
The latest revisions introduced into the Code for the 2025 edition will be covered along with new rules addressing Direct Energy Deposition Additive Manufacturing (DED AM).
